# FLE A1 - Futur proche avec aller (présent) + infinitif

Futur proche expresses **something that will happen with certainty.**

 

It also can be used to :

 

- **express the imminence of an action that will take place in the future**

Ex. Je vais terminer ça.

I'm going to finish this.

 

- **talk about a project**

Ex.

Je vais faire mon master en France.

I am going to do my master's degree in France.

 

- **express a nuanced order**

Ex. 

Tu vas nettoyer ta chambre.

You are going to clean up your room. (=You have to)

 

 

How to use :  aller + infinitif.

| Sujet | Aller (présent) | infinitif. (Ex. manger) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Je | vais |  manger |
| Tu | vas | manger |
| Il / Elle | va | manger |
| Nous | allons | manger |
| Vous  | allez | manger |
| Ils / Elles | vont | manger |

Add "ne pas" to form a negative sentence.

 

Ex. Je vais manger

=/= Je **ne** vais **pas** manger
