# JLPT N5 - Introduction aux verbes et à leur forme négative

### Les catégories de verbes en japonais

Les verbes japonais sont classés en 3 catégories.

**1) Les verbes qui se terminent en う、く、ぐ、す、つ、ぶ、ぬ、む、る .**

On les appelle 1er groupe ou « verbes en -u»   
（例） 買かう、聞きく、 泳およぐ、 待まつ、 遊あそぶ、 死しぬ、 読よむ、 乗のる

**2) Les verbes qui se terminent en « iru » ou en « eru » en romaji. **  
On les appelle 2ème groupe ou « verbes en -ru».  
（例） 見みる、起おきる、食たべる、教おえる、いる

Attention ! Il y a quelques exceptions. Par exemple 入はいる (entrer), 喋しゃべる (bavarder), 知しる (connaître), 帰かえる (rentrer), 走はしる (courir), 要いる (avoir besoin) sont des verbes en -u 五段動詞ごだんどうし.

**3) Deux verbes irréguliers :  する (faire) et 来くる(venir)**

私わたしは買かう。

J’achète (concernant moi, acheter).

Un ami vient.

### Conjugaison des verbes à la forme négative

**1) 1er groupe / verbes en -u**

On remplace la dernière voyelle “u” par “a” puis on ajoute ない.   
(例）  
乗のる noru　→　乗のらない noranai   
待まつ matsu　→　待またない matanai (Ce n’est pas “matsanai”)   
書かく kaku　→　書かかない kakanai   
話はなす hanasu　→　話はなさない hanasanai   
遊あそぶ asobu　→　遊あそばない asobanai   
読よむ yomu　→　読よまない yomanai   
泳およぐ oyogu　→　泳およがない oyoganai

Pour les verbes dont le dernier son est う (comme 買かう) on remplace par わ et non par あ.   
買かう　→　買かわない

Bien que le verbe ある soit un verbe du 1er groupe (verbe en -u), c’est une exception à la forme négative.   
ある　→　ない

**2) 2ème groupe/ verbes en -ru**

On remplace le る final par ない.   
(例）  
食たべる　→　食たべない   
起おきる　→　起おきない   
いる　→　いない

**3) 不規則動詞ふきそくどうし / verbes irréguliers**   
来くる　→　来こない (venir)   
する　→　しない (faire)

Je ne vais pas. (Me concernant, je ne vais pas.)
