Answer : cause ので A: どうして、休やすんだの。Why were you absent?  B: 疲つかれたので。Because I was tired. A: どうして、眠ねむいの。Why are you sleepy?  B: 夜遅よるおそくまでテレビを見みたので。I watched television until late at night. With nouns and adjectives in -な, なので 先生せんせいなので、 敬語けいごを使つかいます。As he is a teacher, I will use honorific expressions. Answer :  cause なので A: どうして、敬語けいごを使つかうの。Why do you use honorifics?  B: 先生せんせいなので。Because he is a teacher. A: どうして、旅行りょこうに行いかないの。 Why don't you go on a trip? B: 時間じかんがないし、お金かねもないし。 I don't have the time or the money etc. A: どうして、彼女かのじょが、代表だいひょうなの。 Why is she the representative? B: 頭あたまもいいし、フランス語ごが上手じょうずだし。 She is intelligent, good at French, etc. ![L’expression de certaines actions たりする ou だりする](https://blog.cardemy.com/hubfs/subtitle_bean.svg) ### The expression of certain actions たりする or だりする Incomplete list: some items are given as examples but it is implied that there are more. It can be constructed from the past tense conjugation of neuter verbs. 食たべる - 食たべた - 食たべたりする 飲のむ - 飲のんだ - 飲のんだりする 来きる - 来きた - 来きたりする きれい - きれいだった - きれいだったりする 汚きたない - 汚きたなかった - りする ![](https://blog.cardemy.com/hubfs/flashcards_purple.svg) いつもここで、食たべたり、飲のんだりする。 I often do things like eating and drinking here. ![](https://blog.cardemy.com/hubfs/flashcards_purple.svg) この部屋へやは、臭くさかったり汚きたなかったりする。 This room is dirty, smells bad etc. Exercices Change the verbs below with たりする ou だりする 行いく。 来くる。 曲まがる。 Answer → 行いったり、 来きたり、 曲まがったりする。 Translation → I go back and forth and turn several times. 暑あつい。 寒さむい。 涼すずしい。 Answer → 暑あつかったり、 寒さむかったり、 涼すずしかったりする。 Translation → It's hot and cool at the same time. 優やさしい。 怖こわい。うるさい。 Answer → 優やさしかったり、 怖こわかったり、 うるさかったりする。 Translation → My mother is kind, scary, loud.
